The Berlin Job

Before and after my meeting I had a bit of time to walk around Berlin and take some pictures, lucky the weather was as nice as in Zurich yesterday.
I like Berlin as a city, it is pretty chilled out and has some great mix of architecture. There is a lot of history there but it also feels modern and arty.

I am envious. Berlin is my favourite city in the world, so I really enjoyed this series.

I have a piece of the Berlin Wall that I hacked out myself. That concrete was almost like steel.

I look forward to more Berlin photographs. I would be interested to see what Potsdamer Platz looks like now. The last time I was there in the 1990s, it still resembled a bomb site.

Have fun.

I like the last shot... just nice modern (and slightly brutal) architecture. Looks like you have found some large empty spaces too.

Calvin, I am back in London now but you can see my previous Berlin pictures here: http://ricoh-gr-diary.blogspot.com/search/label/berlin
In my Back to Berlin post the 3rd and 4th picture are taken at Potsdamer Platz as well as the last one.

I really like the last one.

Last time I was in Berlin was around 2000 and yes it was like a building site, I have a pic of the Brandenberg Gate with roadworks all around it!

Loved the city though, really laid back vibe.
