In Da Nang
Having some time in Da Nang, I went to see some of the sights and take some photos.
Da Nang is a nice city, it is modern but still feels like you're in Vietnam, it has the sea, a river, mountains, temples, shopping malls, old and new buildings and enough events to keep people entertained.
I am no too much of a beach person but I do like walking along the river in the evening. The views are very nice in the evening with all the buildings and bridges lit up.
Too many tourists skip Da Nang to go straight to Hoi An but they miss out in my opinion, it is definitely worth to spend at least a night in Da Nang.

I am not very good at panning shots but have been practicing and am quite proud to have managed a panning shot with my phone. There's a shutter lag and you never know what it will do but this turned out very well.
It shows that with some luck any camera can work to get the shot.

Suoi Parle
A hot and sunny day so I went with some of my staff to cool down at a waterfall near A Luoi.
With it being Sunday and the summer holidays on, it was as expected packed and busy on the way there. While stopping for a coffee, I almost ended up being invited to a wedding party, which would have been the end of the trip.
The waterfall was nice and it was fun to go for a swim.
After cooling off we continued on to A Luoi where we had a late lunch before heading back to Hue.

Around DongBa Market
I've become a bit lazy and too busy so I didn't go out taking photos as often as I wanted.
This is why I decided to take my GRD I with me and head for a walk to DongBa market and take some photos around there.
The market itself is very colorful so having the GRD I set to b&w mode means you don't really see the colors but instead can focus more on the expressions and shapes around the market.
No other camera produces images like the GRD I and while it technically doesn't even come close to my phone these days, it always impresses with it's unique rendering an character.
