View Through the Fence

GX200, f6.3, 15 sec., ISO 64, RAW, 72mm

While on the bus today I saw this scene and had to get off and take a picture, or a few to be honest. Sometimes I see a scene and know exactly how I want the picture to look like. This was one of these occasions and while it is yet another long exposure I really like the picture. Also reminds me to get out more after dark and take some pictures of the industry around North Greenwich.

  1. When I could fave a photograph here just like on flickr, I would do so with this one.

An absolute fave for me Cristi. Well done!

  2. Thanks Wouter!
I did think of your photographs when taking this picture and later during processing. It's also one I like and it got me thinking to do a full series on this.

  3. Great shot indeed. Like a frame from a very dark and futuristic movie. It was worth getting off the bus! :)

  6. Its like something out of a Sc-Fi or a spy film. Great capture.

At your suggestion, I have posted a B&W version of "concentration"

  7. Thanks Yesbuts, industrial photography can indeed look like from a Scifi film. Think this is what draws me to it.

Thanks for posting the b&w version of your picture, it works indeed much better and allows one to focus more on the expressions. The colorfull scarfs took some of the attention away in the color version.
