Fallen Chair

GRD II, f2.4, 1/30, ISO 800, RAW, 21mm

Been walking from Bank to Charing Cross after work and tried to take all the small streets an lanes possible to get there. This is how I found this scene leading to the old Roman baths near King's College. Nearby is also an old abandoned tube station but unfortunatelly I could not go in and take some pictures.

  1. It pays to walk the back streets of London.

It surprising how many disused underground stations there are in London. Not far from where you were, on the South end of Kingsway you can see the entrance to the old tram system.

  2. You are right, walking the backstreets in any city is way more rewarding than always sticking to the main roads. Especially in HK it was great and very interesting.

I need to have a look for the entrance next time, I find old abandoned buildings fascinating.
