Everyday

GRD III, f6.3, 1/84, ISO 64, RAW

Took a few pictures as usual on my way to and from work today. While this is not my best picture it's my first picture and one where I like the colors best.
Early mornings are great for photography, there are not many people and cars around and it is fairly quiet even in London. As I posted some time before, early mornings feel like it's a different world out there.

What I like about the GRDs is that you can always have them along without noticing but want to use them as much as possible at the same time. AT least for me it's like that, as soon as I hold the camera I want to go out and take pictures.

  1. I feel the same way you do , I know with some other cameras I wouldn´t take them everywhere I go.
I´m more the kind of afternoon -night photographer , I should try to weak up earlier !
    Beautiful shot!

  2. Interesting post - particularly your comment about early morning photography.

To highlight the effect of time of day, I have taken four shots of the same scene at different times of the day - I plan to post them tomorrow.

  3. Thanks for your comment Hikari!
I also like to take pictures at night and late afternoon, in Japan it's more fun and more happening at night to take pictures. In London you mostly see drunk people at night so not very exciting.

This sounds like a very interesting project Yesbuts, looking forward to see the pictures.

  4. I guess you will be taking photos of the Climate Action Camp on Blackheath green

  5. "... as soon as I hold the camera I want to go out and take pictures."

I think this should be the most important specification for every camera.

  6. The climate camp should provide some interesting photo opportunities. So far I have not been there but will go by later today.

Robert, I fully agree with you about it being the most important aspect of a camera. A camera that inspires you will always give better pictures.
