Night in Geneva

GRD III, f1.9, 1/30, ISO 800, RAW

Did not take many pictures today, have not been in the mood or too inspired. Geneva is nice and has enough photo opportunities but the weather has been a bit dull and grey so not great for photography.

  1. Nice capture of the narrow streets in the old part of Geneva. My favorite restaurant is Les Armures. Even Bill Clinton likes it.

Which raw converter do you use for The GRDIII files and how do you handle noise?

  3. Thanks for your comments!

Marco, I like the old part of Geneva and the narrov streets are great for photography if the light is right.
I will have to check out the restaurant next time I am there.

I tried to use RAW Therapee but on my UMPC/Netbook it's too slow and the interface can't scale properly to the resolution. For this picture I used Photoshop CS3 and Noise Ninja to remove noise but added some luminance noise back afterwards.
