Since I did not take any pictures worth posting today, just a small series with pictures from Minnesota that I liked but did not post for various reasons.

Minneapolis Meet
GXR A12-M, f5.6, 1/60, ISO 351, JPG, 42mm (Ricoh GR f2.8 28mm L)
The great thing about having a blog is all the fantastic people I met through it from all around the world. It is always a really fun and interesting meet and I enjoy it a lot, this makes it worth for me to keep up the blog even if it's not always easy.
Today, I met with fellow blogger and photographer Jason for a photography walk, unfortunately in fading light thanks to the traffic while getting to the meet up point, and a chat over dinner and drinks.
I had a great time and really enjoyed the meeting, it shows that the world is a small place indeed, I hope we can meet up again in the future and have more time for photography.

Superior Road Trip
Took another road trip, this time all the way to Lake Superior. Went to visit the Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls, Two Harbors and a sort time in Duluth.
The weather was cold and I even had a bit of snow on the way there but it was a nice day out and worth the long drive. If I would have planned this better I would have stayed overnight and maybe even gone all the way up to Canada but there is only limited time.

The Mall
Headed to the Mall to check it out and also have a play with the new MS Surface tablet. I am not big into shopping and don't like malls so it did not take long for me to get bored in the mall. Trying out the Surface was more fun though and I really like Windows 8.
This is a series of pictures from the mall to give an idea how big it really is.

People in the Frame
The weather was not great and I did not take any pictures worth posting.
Instead I decided to post some pictures from Saturday where the focus in not on the people but where the people add to the pictures.

Day in Minneapolis
Spent the day walking around Minneapolis, it started off foggy but turned to a very nice and sunny day.
I enjoyed seeing the city and my favourite area is the old mill district.

Lake Riley
Took a short drive after work to Lake Riley and Staring Lake. Although the day started off nice and sunny, clouds moved in during the afternoon so the light was not great for photography.
This is a short series from the lakes.

Bridge over the Purgatory
GXR A12-M, f2.8, 1/73, ISO 200, JPG, 42mm (Ricoh GR f2.8 28mm L)
Back to the US again, this time to Minneapolis for the next three weeks. Did not have much time for photography after the flight and driving to the hotel, I just managed to go for a short drive to Purgatory Creek just when the sun went down.
