Stairway

GRD, f4.5, 1/250, ISO 400, JPG b&w

Did not have much time for taking pictures today since I had to keep on arguing with Easyjet for my compensation for the recently cancelled and delayed flights.
Took this on my way to London Bridge station. I like taking pictures of grey concrete buildings, especially if they match the weather.

  1. Recognise those stairs - London Bridge Hospital.
Hope you succeeded in getting compensation from Easy Jet.
Hope to go tomorrow to Tate Modern to see if I can get any interesting shots of the new Unilever Series Exhibit in the Turbine Hall.

  2. It is the London Bridge Hospital.
I also plan to pop by the Tate modern tomorrow to take a few pictures of the new exhibition so should be interesting to see what we come up with :). If you see a guy with a GRD and a brown leather bag it's probably me ;).

Thanks, still fighting with them but hopefully it won't take too long to get the compensation.

  3. I can see that this was taken at ISO 400. I find the B&W's are very usable at 400 and even 800 on the GX200.

  4. You are right Marco, for b&w images you can easily use ISO 400 and 800 and get very pleasing results. So pleasing even, that I use ISO 400 almost all the time for b&w pictures.
