I liked the clouds this morning when getting to London Bridge so the Shard made for a nice enough backdrop although I usually ignore it.

City Morning

My train got cancelled and I ended up taking a different train so, I found myself near the One New Change building. Since I had some time to spare, I went to the rooftop terrace to escape the people on the street and get a nicer view of London in the morning.

Pink Clouds

Having to walk across London Bridge every day to and from work can be tedious at times due to the number of people who are all in a rush and don't seem to have any flow to how they walk. Still, look around and you are usually rewarded with some nice views over Tower Bridge and the Shard.

More London Riverside

On my way to the office I decided to take some photos since it was nice and sunny outside. I decided to take a slightly different way and walk past City Hall and More London. I liked he light and reflections, it was also nice that there were not too many people around.
Makes for a change from always people and market photos.

Boats on the Thames

It might be a bit overused of a subject and maybe a bit cliché but I did like the light and how the boats turned up due to the long exposure. This and it breaks off the usual people and street photo themes on my blog.

Crane

Took this during lunch while climbing up the Monument for the first time, it's pretty cool but whoever approved buildings to be built that high and that close to it managed to ruin a very nice landmark as it's easy to miss it and the view right now if full of cranes and construction sites.
Still, it was great to finally go up there and I can recommend it as it offers some nice views despite the buildings all around it.

City Lines

Took this during lunch from the roof terrace at the One New Change building, I took a few landscape pictures and even a panorama with my Nexus 4 phone but this I liked best because it's more abstract.

I will have to return there with a wider lens and take some nice panorama shots of the City and St. Paul's.

Look Up

Took this while waiting for my next train at London Bridge, Since I don't carry tripods with me it's not always easy to take longer exposure shots but I find something to steady the camera most of the times but not always get the composition I want. On the other hand it's good to improvise at times and make do with what you have.
