Since I was not happy with the few other pictures I took today, I thought I share my portrait. Who says a 21mm lens can't do portraits ;). Image is slightly cropped, I used selective coloring for the eye and increased the contrast a bit.
Took this during my lunchbreak after ordering the GT-1 40mm teleconverter lens for the GRD. I like these destroyed churches that you can find in the City and serve as gardens. Makes for a much nicer experience and don't feel as cold and dark as normal churches. Have more a feel of a Temple or Shrine. Would like to see more churches being turned into gardens.
This is my attempt at taking a different picture of Canary Wharf. Where you usually have nice colorful pictures with all the lights I deliberately took a dark picture in b&w at ISO1600 to give as much grain as possible. Maybe not a great image but I hope it's at least different.
This picture has the levels slightly modified and I used some noise reduction to smoothen it a bit more. The colors are all straight from the camera using manual white balance.
This is the first picture and although not that interesting I quite like the result. The original idea was different but it did not turn out as expected so I might retry it at a later time.
