Discussion

GR, f2.8, 1/250, ISO 3200, RAW

One of the things I dislike most about London is taking the Tube, nothing is more uncomfortable and slower to travel. Still, at times it can't be helped and I find myself taking the tube for a few stops. At least it makes for some nice photos at times so if I'm stuck I might as well take some photos.

Into The Light

GRD III, f1.9, 1/140, ISO 64, RAW

I always wanted to take a picture like this but never got the right time or scene for it so when I got the opportunity this morning I had to take the picture. It is not exactly what I wanted but unless I stage it it will be difficult to get it and staging it is fake and not real so I won't bother.
I have oversharpened it a bit because I wanted the harsh edges in there and even tought of adding some noise to it but decided against it so the picture is smoother overall.

Tube

GRD, f2.4, 1/10, ISO 800, JPG

Tok this picture while waiting for the tube at Mansion House station. Liked how the tunnel looked and the train added the colors to the scene.

Behind the Yellow Line

GRD II, f2.4, 1/50, ISO 200, RAW

Today, I am back with a street shot from the GRD II after the last days when the focus was more on the GX series or adapter lenses. Took it after work while waiting for the tube. The light was great although I processed the shot slightly to give it a colder feel. After this I am in the mood of starting a Tube series but I have so man other projects and series I want to do that I need a lot more free time to be able to do it all. Also since it's getting warmer and it becomes more and more a nightmare to take the tube due to the heat, I think I will leave the tube series till the winter when it's colder.
