Call at the Station

GXR A12-M, f1.4, 1/125, ISO 2363, 53mm (Voigtlander Nokton f1.4 35mm)

  1. cool shot:)
need to go out and use my nokton 1.2 today

  2. Thanks for your comment Tom!
You should go out and use the Nokton, it's a great lens. Post some pictures with it later.

  3. Lovely lush background. I am finding myself drawn to the softness and gentle coloured glow of the station, and ignoring the guy. This lens does seem to give amazing DoFs at such close ranging usability.

  4. Thanks for your comment Bill!

The Noktons have a very nice way of rendering out of focus areas or have a very nice bokeh to say it in less words.
The DOF is pretty shallow at f1.4 and even more at f1.2 with the f1.2 Nokton where it gets difficult to nail the focus exact.
