At the Blue Table

Nexus 4, 1/40, ISO 100, JPG

The Nexus 4 is an amazing phone and probably the best phone to buy right now, especially given the price. The camera however is really poor even when compared with the iPhone 3GS, the focus and shutter lag makes it impossible to get any kind of moving shots. On the positive side it can adjust the EV compensation so this might come in handy at times.
Still, since I don't think much of any phone camera it is not really a problem for me. It would be nice to have the Hipstamatic app for Android though.

  1. I've just taken on the beast of phones... Samsung Note 2. I can't believe how good it is. Yes it is a tad big for some people's taste... but I've already got over that minor issue. and yes... phone cameras are generally only a convenient add on, and do not replace a real camera,

  2. Thanks for your comment Bill!

I was tempted by the Galaxy Note 2 as my phone and daily tablet but decided to go with the Nexus 7 for my every day tablet needs and add the Nexus 4 as a phone thanks to the great features and price.
