Selling News

GXR A12-M, f6.3, 1/380, ISO 200, RAW, 21mm (Voigtlander Heliar f4.5 15mm L)

Took this during my lunch break, I always find these news stands interesting and in this case also quite colourful.

  1. A lot of famous photo's are made by famous photographers from news stands and not without reason. It delivers always an interesting picture. It is not so often that you see a part of the surroundings. Problably that a 15 mm wide angle didn't exist in those times and there is a change that it disrupt the composition. In this picture a bit I think. A bit to much emptiness left and above. Still an interesting one.

  2. Thanks for your comment!

I see the empty space you mention but this is why I like a wide angle lens, it is more difficult to use but also because it does give some extra space in the picture so it does not feel too closed in.
