LPMG Street Photography Meetup

You might wonder why I post yet another street photography series in such a short time but it just happened to be a LPMG street photography meetup today.
Another reason is that Ricoh cameras are best for street and macro photography, especially the A12 28mm module is very good for street photography although I have also used the 50mm A12 module for a few pictures.

  2. Thanks for your comment!
I actualy shot everything in b&w but after looking at the RAW files, I decided that color works better with some.

  3. I like these a lot; especially the second and the fourth one. But I don't think it has that much to do with the equipment, rather with the eye of the photographer. Given the backgrounds you could even have made these shots with the GF1 and your least favorite lens.

  4. Thnaks for your comment Björn!

You are right that equipment is not always important but I was more commenting on both A12 modules and there the 50mm is at times too slow to focus.

As for the GF1, I could have taken these with it but not all I took during the day for two reasons, first the extremely loud shuter of the GF1 and 2nd the lack of any hyperfocal setting which is very easy to switch to on the GXR.
