Views from the Lakes - Day 1
After a 3 hour train journey, I arrived at the Lake district in Windermere, from there a boat journey to Ambleside and a walk to the falls here.
I took the GXR A12-M with CV 12mm lens for the landscapes, the Ricoh GR lens for street photography and the Jupiter-8 lens for when I need to get closer.
At first look the Lake District reminds me a lot of Scotland but not quite as green and the lakes are not quite as big as the lochs.

Can't get my eyes off the shots. I need a holiday too!
ReplyDeleteShots reflect the atmosphere. Enjoy your day.
What is it with that 'plant' and the 'coins'
ReplyDeleteA feast of images. Wonderful small detail. The mossy old seat is excellent, as are the waterfall shots. Wonderful natural greens.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments!
ReplyDeleteThe Lake District is a very nice place to spend a few days in and it's great for photography.
The coins were all in an old tree trunk, no idea why people have done it but I assume it's to show that money does indeed grow on trees. ;)
