Chow Kit Walk
When I'm in KL, I always try to meet up with Bjorn, it's great to catch up and do some photography together.
Another thing I enjoy is that he knows a lot of the hidden places in KL that have a lot more charm but are not always easy to find in between all the new towers.
The kampungs are very interesting and make for a much nicer backdrop for photography than the more modern side of KL. The people there are also very friendly and always open for a chat or to strike a pose.
Another sight worth seeing in KL are the various markets, markets anywhere in the world are a great place for photography.
This time we went around Chow Kit and visited the market there, it's as colorful and vibrant as you would expect and well worth a visit.
Speaking of colors, this post is also dedicated to Bjorn's favorite color so see if you can figure it out.
It was a great day again and very nice to do some photography with someone and not on my own.

From Hue to Kuala Lumpur
It was again time for a trip out of Vietnam and back to Kuala Lumpur. I set off in the morning on my motorbike to Da Nang.
I left quite early to have plenty of time to get there but to my surprise the tunnels they have been working on were all finished so this cut down the time to get to Lang Co considerably.
In Da Nang I even had time to chill a bit and have breakfast and coffee before heading to the airport.
After arriving in Kuala Lumpur and making the long trip to the city from the airport, I was about to head for dinner when it started pouring.
I decided to just take money and my Olympus TG-4 with me and head out anyway, it was nice and I got some nice photos.
It's nice not to have to worry about the camera with the TG-4, sure the GR would have offered much better image quality but the TG-4 just works and I don't have to care about it too much.

Hangout Coffee - Pre-opening Night
When I decided to leave London and my job there to move to Vietnam without having a job or anything lined up, people thought I was crazy. Their opinion didn't improve when my only plan was to see how tings go and maybe open a coffee shop and teach some English.
Now just over 4 months later, I'm teaching English full time and this is the night before my coffee shop is officially opening.
Sometimes it's good to just go for something and do it even if people don't agree with your idea. It might turn out to be a bad idea or it might work out but you never know without trying.
There have been problems along the way and the small coffee shop idea has become a big 3 floor coffee shop, bar and live music venue. The result of all this is Hangout Coffee in Hue, Vietnam.
Now the question is how good or bad will it be once it's open but if you never go into anything with the intention of getting rich but of enjoying the experience and learn something in the process it will be difficult to be disappointed.
