Mark, you can't believe how often I struggle with the shallow DOF of the large sensor in the GXR. In low light especially the larger sensor and subsequent shallow DOF wide open create a lot of problems for street photography but even in good light and using f5.6-f8, I never feel like I have enough DOF.
So for me shallow DOF of large sensors is a big disadvantage in most cases and kind of makes fast lenses pretty pointless.
The only time I like shallow DOF is for macro shots like this but then even small sensors can do it.
Hi Cris! Do you find the narrow depth of field of the GXR problematic after working so much with small sensor cameras?
