  1. Ihere is something very allusive and a bit elusive about this image. One of my favorites since I've been following the blog. It's not often a single image progresses from complete silhouette to shadow detail from side to side. Not uncommon up and down with bright sky but rare like this. It adds I think to the pathos of the lone figure. Really really nice.

    I did like how it came out and the dynamic range helped to capture the shadow details.

    When I saw this I knew it would make a good picture with the clouds and sun coming through.
