Watching the Boats

GXR A12-M, f2.8, 1/4000, ISO 200, RAW, 42mm (Leica Elmarit f2.8 28mm R)

  1. I now see that the ricoh grx is capable to great pictures indeed. And with Leitz glass. As a user of the epson R-1d I use leica lenses also but wasn't aware that there are other options without breaking your bank account to use your old lenses. Thanks for showing.

  2. The GXR mount is fantastic and you can get some great and not too expensive Leica L lenses or the Leica R lenses with adapters or even Canon FD lenses, so there is not need for the quite expensive Leica M lenses.

The advantage over the R-D1 is the live view so you can actually focus all lenses even without the rangefinder coupling.

  3. Nice image. Are all these recent shots morning or evening?

  4. Thanks for your comment Bill!

Most of the recent shots were in the afternoon/evening.
