Mother and Daughter

GRD IV, f1.9, 1/125, ISO 209, RAW

Took this while out for a walk around Greenwich, had again the GRD IV with me due to the small size and weight but also because the GRD I does not work with the Eye-Fi card.

Liked how they sat in front of the Window and were reading the leaflets, made for a nice calm picture.

Hopefully I can get my hands on a GR soon to try it out as the size would be perfect and of course the image quality will be way superior.

  1. How are you getting on with the Surface Pro these days?

They've just announced it for Japan, so I look forward to having a play with one soon.

  2. Thanks for your comment Martin!

I do like the Surface Pro a lot and it's a fantastic device to replace both your PC and tablet for longer travels. My biggest issues with it so far are related to Windows 8 more than the device itself although it could certainly do with a 2nd USB port and a fullsize SD card reader.

The Japanese version seems to get 256GB SSD and full Office included which is certainly a great bonus.

If I get round to I will write an updated version of my Q1 Ultra article, the funny thing is that despite al the new devices none have all the features the Q1 Ulrra had all these years ago.
