Caution

GRD, f3.5, 1/25, ISO 400, JPG

Took this picture in the morning after my train got cancelled and I had to wait for the next one. I really like the way they have the signs and buckets at the stations in the UK for water coming through the roof when it rains. It's amazing, you think it never rained here before so they could not build a station that is weatherproof ;). Same as they can never build a platform that is the same height as the train. Then the train companies don't understand why people say that the UK has one of the worst public transport systems in the world. Well, if trains can't run when it's raining or there are leaves on the track or you can't get a simple signal to work, you can't really complain if people make fun. At least people in the UK never complain or the public transport companies would have a really big problem.

  1. I think you are being unfair, you can't expect them to build a roof that copes with all types of rain - its just unfortunate that you use a station which was built for dry rain conditions. :) Mind the gap!

Every cloud (even rain clouds) have a silver lining - those buckets and signs provided you with a great photo opportunity.

I told you I travelled by train to Holland; four trains taken in each direction, all eight arrived spot on time.

    Travelled to Wales last week:
1st train stuck outside Swindon -signalling problem, stuck outside Cardiff points problem.
2nd train late leaving Swansea - door wouldn't close!!!!

Rule Britannia, Britannia rules the waves, Britain never never ever shall be . . . .

I'm off to sulk in the garden shed.

  2. Hehe, you are right. Besides if things would work or built properly it would take out the fun and photo opportunities for us :D.

Your sulking in the garden shed produced some very interesting pictures ;).
