Due to a booking mistake we had to leave Koh Samed and stay overnight in Ban Phe. At first it seemed like a missed opportunity to spend more time on the island but then it turned out to be the better choice.
We started off by driving around Ban Phe, along the beach and then between Rayong and Banh Phe also along the beach road.
Being not just a holiday but also a very nice day, the streets were full of people enjoying the beach, picnics but also throwing water at each other and especially at passing cars and motorbikes.
It was all great fun and a nice atmosphere, kids in particular loved this and had lots of fun throwing water around.
