A quiet Sunday but the weather was a lot nicer after the rain yesterday so I went for a walk around Blackheath. Forgot my SD card so could only take 7 pictures but I had my GR1 with me and made some good use of it. This also got me thinking to do a GR1 week. This should be interesing since I will only see my pictures at the end of the week.
I don't understand, why will you not see the photos until the end of the week?
ReplyDeleteThe GR1 is the film version of the GRD so I will only be able to develop the film at the end of the week. I have some ideas for the meantime so it should still be interesting and keep my blog updated.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo. Great capture.
ReplyDeleteAnd a great idea to use the GR1. I should be doing too, my GR1 could use some exercise too.
Thanks Wouter.
ReplyDeleteThe GR1 is a great camera but I kind of miss the immediacy of digital photography. I find that I am more detached from the process of taking pictures with film than with digital where I feel more part of the process.
But You should give your GR1 some excersise and run it through it's paces every now and then.
Thanks for the reply;
ReplyDeleteWhat film have you loaded?
[Tried to contact Coin Street Development to ask about their policy on photographing outside the Bargehouse - no one available to talk to me, they promised to phone back, but guess what]
Great capture Cristi. You guys make me jealous with your GR1s. :)
ReplyDeleteYesbuts, unfortunatelly I have just a standard ISO 200 color film. Let me tell you one thing, I regret having the ISO 200 film in these weather conditions, my pictures will probably all suffer from camera shake.
ReplyDelete[Ah, the "answer" was as expected, they hope you go away if they don't comment and ignore you.]
James, thanks for your comment. The GR1s are great cameras and for me who never liked film the best film cameras available. I think the GRD is a big improvement over it however and offers the advantage of digital.
Excellent capture. I like this one a lot.
