Pier

GXR A12-M, f8.0, 1/1320, ISO 200, RAW, 18mm (Voigtlander Heliar f5.6 12mm L)

Another nice and sunny day, aside from a walk around Greenwich and Greenwich Park, I spent it chilling on my terrace.

Took the Heliar 12mm and the Leica 90mm lenses with me but mostly used the 12mm, I like wideangle lenses and the way they capture the world. I wish I would have a full frame camera to make ful use of the 12mm Heliar lens.

  1. Hi Cristian,
Love the diverging lines in the shot. As to the full frame sensor you want to use the Heliar on, that would have to be a pretty special one to avoid the corner issues I saw even on APS-C. I realize those can be overcome, but who other than Leica are going to be motivated to do so? Do you think Ricoh might offer a FF M-mount module for the GXR system?

  2. Thanks for your comment Björn!

I do like taking pictures of this pier and always like to try something different.

Not sure what Ricoh has planned but I sure hope they will continue with the GXR and an updated M mount would be a good start, especially if they can make it FF and maybe also work with K mount or some new AF mount.
