Misty Morning

GRD, f6.3, 1/1600, ISO 64, RAW

As much as I like the GRD I, it is not the perfect camera for landscape photography. It works great for b&w landscapes taken in high ISO but low ISO is no a strength and color even less. For this shot it would have also been good to have some moderate zoom.

  1. I think it is really good Cristi. I love all the different shades of grey and you composed the scene well with the 28mm.

  2. Is this the view from your new office?

  3. This must have been a very bright scene at 1/1600 s. I like this shot.

  4. Thanks for your comment Wouter! I had to crop the image quite a lot, especially since I wanted to have it in 16:9.

Yesbuts, this is indeed the view from my new office. It is the view I have every morning when I get in.

Thanks Marco! The sun was just on the upper left side out of the picture and was shining right into the windows from where I took the picture. It was very bright and not easy to find the right exposure, this is why I decided to use RAW.
