Walking Past

GRD III, f5, 1/500, ISO 64, RAW

I really like the light and reflections at Canary Wharf, it gives pictures a different look and feel.

The light was indeed fantastic on taht day and the reflections turn this into a very surreal shot.

  4. It looks like you have used a flash eheh
But the environment is not good, I mean there's nothing interesting.
    It's no d.m.

The enviroment is exactky what it shoudl have been, it's all about the shadows and reflections on the floor and the abstract light overall. For me the decisive moment was to get the person walking towards me and get the rght pose while still capturing his shadow on the floor.

  6. That's fantastic. This is the "no flash corner" look and technique.

This is it, the 'No flash corner' look. I need to find out where I read about that.

The GRDs are great cameras and some of the best for street photography.

The dynamic range is helped by the reflections but I am very happy with the dynamic range from the GRD III.
