Dark Clouds Looming

GF1, f7.1, 1/3200, ISO 200, JPG, 40mm (Olympus f3.5-5.6 14-42mm)

  1. Cristian,

I like the mood of the photo with the dark sky and the gold pinacle. Why did you decide on the Olympus lens rather than the Panaonic?

  2. Thanks for your comment Bruce!

I had the Olympus lens on to try it out and was not even aware at what focal length I took this picture until I reviewed it later.
At 40mm the Panasonic is much better though and much sharper but the Olympus is quite a nice allrounder lens and does a good job when walking around without any specific subjects in mind.
I do prefer prime lenses ultimately and the only zoom lens I could really live with is the lens on the LC1 thanks to the fantastic quality and greatbuild and controls on it.
