Day 125 - Ba Vi National Park
After a much later start than planned due to some unforeseen circumstances, I set out with some friends to go to Ba Vi National Park.
Ba Vi National Park is around 60 km from Hanoi so it's quite easy and quick to get to, it is on a mountain and features nature hiking trails, some old ruins and temples at the top.
After getting in to the park and enjoying the ride up the wining roads, we set out for a hike along some overgrown trails.
Because we set off late, spent too long hiking and visiting an old church, we only made it all the way up to the top shortly before it got dark so did not have time to visit the temples there.
Instead we went halfway back down to the only hotel available in the park to get a expensive (for Vietnamese standards) room, dinner and drinks.
It was still a great trip though, we all had a nice time and a lot of fun driving with our bikes.
