Curious Goose

GRD, f4, 1/750, ISO 200, JPG b&w

Did not have much time for taking pictures today but while walking around Blackheath I took a few pictures of the geese at the pond nearby.
This goes in my animal series with the snail and pigeons :). Wonder if a picture taken of animals but on the street and in black and white would qualify as 'Street Photography' or rather 'Wildlife Photography' or simply as a (boring?) snapshot of a goose ;).

  3. Again you have made me think :)

    What is "Street Photography"?

    Looked up Wikipedia:

    Street photography is a type of documentary photography that features subjects in candid situations within public places such as streets, parks, beaches, malls, political conventions, and other settings.

    If Wikipedia says it is, it must be true, a photo taken in the park is "Street Photography" - as long as the geese were in a "candid situation". Now I have to look up "candid situation". :}

  4. Glad I made you think with my post.
    Now you made me think with your reply. How would you define a "candid situation" when it comes to a goose? And what if this goose was posing, would I need a model release? ;)
