Metal & Glass

GRD, f7.1, 1/640, ISO 100, JPG b&w

I did not take many pictures today, I did however like most of the ones which I did take. I decided to use this one because I do not take a lot of architecture shots but really like how this came out.
The GRD I might not be the best for landscapes but it certainly is the best for architecture photography due to the great lens it has. This picture is unprocessed, straight out of the camera.

  2. Love your photography; I always feel in the shot, not looking at it. I check in everyday to enjoy your work.....which also fuels my envy that you are able to snap a few quality shoots each day.

I have the GRD II and the wideangle and totally agree with your comments on the superb capture of architecture.

    Cheers, Andy

  3. I like the way the image seems to grow out of the bottom of the frame

  4. Cristi, very nicely done, and great in BW ...Docklands is one of my faves for modern architectural photography, and LX3 16:9 often works well ... wonder if Ricoh might add that aspect ratio on a new cam at some point ?
    All the best,
    Nick

  5. Thanks for all your comments!

Andy, I am very glad you like my photography and it feels like you are right there. I try to use lower perspectives and not look down on things but rather up.
It is not always easy to come up with a good shot every day but good shots are everywhere, it is just taking the time to go out and look for them.

Nick, I hope Ricoh will add 16:9 to their cameras, would be very nice and I would like using it sometimes without having to crop later.
