Day 324 - Vigan to Laoag to Manila to Busan

I had an early start to the day to watch the final World Cup football game and then go for a quick walk around Vigan before taking the bus to Laoag.

Day 323 - More of Vigan

After being unsuccessful to find a place and rent a motorbike, I decided to just enjoy Vigan for today.

Day 322 - Arriving in Vigan

When I took the night bus, I bought a ticket all the way to Laoag, forgetting how uncomfortable night buses are. So when the bus drove into Vigan in the morning, I had enough and decided to just get off here.

Day 321 - To the Underground River

After getting my permit yesterday, I went to rent a motorbike for the drive to the Underground River about 75km from Puerto Princesa.

Day 320 - Puerto Princesa

After almost missing my flight because I forgot to set my alarm, I made it to Puerto Princesa. Since I didn't plan anything, I decided to start with booking a hotel.

Day 319 - Tarsiers in Bohol and Evening in Cebu

Initially, I planed on leaving Bohol at around lunchtime to have some more time in Cebu but then figured I can't leave without going to see a Tarsier.

Day 318 - Of Beaches and a Cave on Bohol

The plan today was to drive around Panglao Island and take in some of the other sights but then I realized there are not that many sights on Panglao except for one, the Hinagdanan Cave.

Day 317 - Bohol: Chocolate Hills and Beach

It is good to have a motorbike available, even a small scooter means less hassle and more freedom in most of Asia.

Day 316 - Halfday in Cebu

After a first good impression last evening I was curious to see how Cebu would fare during the day. It felt a lot quieter and less crowded than Manila but also a lot more pleasant and less dirty.

Day 315 - Last Day in Manila

I guess a bit of sunshine, or just the fact that I got used to the place, can make a difference as Manila didn't seem quite as run down today.

After yesterday, I wanted to give Manila another try and see if I just got the wrong first impression.

Day 313 - Manila Slums

After a long but not too uncomfortable night at Singapore airport I arrived in Manila. Getting out of the airport and finding a Jeepney (the local transport minibuses) was easy and so far so good.
