Today, I went for a walk around the main shopping areas in Bangkok to get different view and see where the local people go on a weekend.
It was a very nice walk and good to see a different area in Bangkok, not that I am into shopping but walking around the shopping plazas and malls was quite enjoyable.
There were lots of people around shopping and going to the temples dotted all around in front of all the major malls.
The evening was spent having and hugely overpriced drink at the State Tower, it featured in the Hangover 2 movie. The views were great but the place is insanely pricey, very poncy with people taking themselves too serious and pretty stiff atmosphere. Would recommend you go there only to take pictures and stay away from ordering any drinks unless you go there for a special occasion.
Tomorrow, I will head to Ayutthaya for a day trip and to get out of the city.
