Day 174 - Flower Market Visit
One of the highlights before the New Year holiday next to the sales are the flower markets around Hue and especially the one in front of the Citadel.
People here like buying and giving flowers for New Year and the mot popular are of course yellow and some red flowers but also orange trees.
It is great walking around to see the different flowers but also the people around selling and buying them or transporting them in the rickshaws.
In Hue the yellow flowers are the most popular, a friend from Hanoi told me that they have different preferences there for their flowers.
I will have to go back for some more photography around the market as it's not only interesting but also quite colorful and a bit of color is never a bad thing. The backdrop of the Citadel is also quite intriguing.
