Day 285 - Around SG Chinatown

After changing my hotel this morning to none located in Chinatown , it made sense to explore the area a bit.

Like in Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown is a more interesting area and feels less sterile than around Marina Bay although not quite as authentic as the Geylang area.

The street market is fun to walk past and you also have some temples, and a mosque to visit.

After walking around Chinatown, I headed back to Marina Bay and the Sands shopping center to get away from the rain and have a Vietnamese coffee (because there is no better coffee in the world).

One thing that is quite nice about Malaysia and Singapore are the food markets you can find dotted about, they are local, offer a large variety of different foods and are cheap so perfect for a meal.

The evening I just spent wandering around Chinatown and Marina Bay but didn't take too many photos. Just the light show at the Sands resort captured my attention in how much it reminded me of Hong Kong.
