Day 288 - Little India and Bugis

It looks like for me the way to explore the different  areas in Singapore is to change hotels. Not that hotels are very good though, Singapore has so far the worst value for money (and probably also overall) hotels in all of Asia.
Since last night I stayed in Little India, it made sense to explore it a bit before going to my new hostel in the Bugis area.

Little India might be the area in Singapore with the most character and is a bit of a contrast to the usually very clean and tidy rest of the city.

The Bugis area is quite close to Little India but has a more Arabic character. This is similar to Malaysia where different cultures live together and each brings in their own influence.

Sunday is the best way to visit Little India as everyone is off and out in the streets and parks of the neighborhood.

Little India is surely one of the most colourful areas so makes for nice photography.

After Little India, I took a walk to Marina Bay again, via Orchard Road, Fort Canning Park and Clarke Quay before heading back to Bugis to get dinner.
