Day 293 - More from the Jogja Night Market

Today, I helped a friend with looking for a new phone after his got 'lost' at the station. In the evening I figured it would be great to go to the Prambanan Temple for the sunset.

Unfortunately by sunset time the temple was closed and the rain clouds moved in to provide a short shower. This meant we had to look at the temple from afar and look for shelter.

While the temple looked nice, after seeing Angkor Wat, Bagan and Sukothai, I didn't feel like I missed out on much by not being able to wander around the ruins.

After the rain has passed it was time to head back and go to the night market on Malioboro Road for a stroll and some photography.
This was more the photography I wanted to do anyway and didn't get much chance so far with all the volcanoes and landscapes.

Malioboro Road is a great place to watch people and take photos of the local and tourist lifestyle around.

One thing that I noticed in Bandung and now also here is how many Mariachi's there are in Indonesia, walking around with their guitar and playing for people eating at the various food stalls.
